Flow-Rite, fluid control components manufacturer, hired Angela Paauwe as operations director. As an addition to Flow-Rite’s executive leadership team, Paauwe will oversee company operations, maintenance, production control and advanced sourcing.
Paauwe started at Steelcase in 1989 as an industrial-manufacturing engineer. She worked at Steelcase as senior buyer, supervisor, manager and, most recently, global operations consultant for new product development.
The company stated Paauwe is passionate about mentoring others and supporting women in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) fields. She serves on the Academy of STEM’s advisory council at Innovation Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
More than 10 years ago, Paauwe started as a member of Inforum, an organization promoting strategic connections, professional development and leadership in Michigan women’s careers. Paauwe is an Inforum West Michigan Regional Council chairperson.
