Lloyd’s RV Center in Orange, Texas, was acquired by Fun Town RV.

Lloyd Hoelzer established Lloyd’s RV Center in 1954. Lloyd’s son, Ronnie Hoelzer, took over the business and relocated the company to its current site.

“I had no idea the problems that would crop up,” said Ronnie Hoelzer, Lloyd’s RV Center president, “and Jesse (Stopnitzky of Performance Brokerage Services) did all he could do to help resolve them. I could not have done this by myself.”

Performance Brokerage Services participates in RV dealership buy-sell activities. Stopnitzky, company RV Division director, said Ronnie Hoelzer was a trailblazer in the Texas RV industry. Hoelzer helped found the Texas RV Dealer Association (TRVDA) and was its first president, from 1973-74.

“Nearly 50 years later, he is still the TRVDA acting vice-president,” Stopnitzky said. “Ronnie’s commitment to his fellow dealers and his community is what makes him special. It was a pleasure and an honor representing the Hoelzer family legacy as Ronnie and his wife, Peggy, transition to the next chapter in their lives.”

Fun Town RV has 12 Texas locations, one in Oklahoma and one in Illinois.

“It has been a great start to the year,” Fun Town RV CEO Jarrod McGhee said. “We have some exciting things happening now and in the future. There is all sorts of room for advancement and opportunities within Fun Town RV, all because of our new growth. This location will be among several new stores scheduled to open within the next year for Fun Town RV.”
