General RV promoted Nicole Akers to sales manager Oct. 27. Akers is General RV’s first woman to be named sales manager.
Akers joined General RV in 2020 as a sales associate at the company’s Tampa/Dover location. She earned the dealership’s Towables Rookie of the Year award in 2021 and the Motorhome Rookie of the Year award in 2022.
General RV Sales Director Bob Green said, “Nicole’s interaction with our customers always impresses—her professionalism, attention to detail, positive attitude and personal connection enable her to help customers at the highest level to find their perfect RV.”
Green said Akers’ promotion will pave the way for future General RV female leaders to follow.
Akers said she was honored to take on her new role. She said her success is centered on a passion for the industry.
