Go RVing Canada teamed with Canadian country music artist Bret Kissell to develop film segments promoting RVing.
Go RVing Canada will film five segments depicting RV camping and cooking with Kissell outside. The program will launch in April.
Kissel will star in a new show on the Sportsman Channel Canada called “Backwoods Backstage.” The Go RVing spots will complement the show content and Kissel will share his favorite backwoods recipes, Go RVing Canada said.
The content aims to encourage RVers to begin planning RV trips and to try Kissell’s recipes while travelling, Go RVing Canada said. The partnership will include a contest giveaway featuring a guitar signed by Kissell.
Kissel has toured with Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley and recorded with Nelly. He won the 2022 JUNO Award for Best Country Album of the Year. He has multi-platinum and multi-gold albums to his name and has received 22 Canadian Country Music Awards.
