For the first time since 2019, Go RVing completed a major production shoot in Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana.

The shoot was the first “Real Vacation campaign” production Go RVing hosted since the pandemic began. It was the first time the team worked with its new agency, FCB, on campaign resources.

Go RVing spent a week in Indiana with 16 different RVs, shooting various scenes at Indiana Dunes, a football stadium, scenic roads, picturesque downtown areas, residential neighborhoods and campgrounds. Dozens of scenes were shot featuring families, adventurers, couples, children and football fans.

All footage and stills will be used in various capacities, Go RVing stated, in broadcast, digital advertising, social media and print media.

Dana DelVecchio, Go Rving’s programs and experiential events senior manager, commended RVIA members for their help.

“We could not have achieved so much without so many members stepping up to provide a range of different RVs,” DelVecchio said.

The different units utilized in the October shoot were Type As, Type Cs, large and small travel trailers, a teardrop trailer, a truck camper, a sport utility RV, a fifth wheel and Type Bs. Go RVing will issue another call for RVs for the January production shoot, which will take place in the western United States, to members in December.

The new creative will start dropping in the spring of 2022, Go RVing stated, and additional resources from the shoots will be added to the Go RVing industry portal. Members interested in providing an RV to Go RVing’s national campaign should contact DelVecchio at [email protected]
