Go RVing Shares Big Solar Eclipse Product

A picture of Go RVing's RV-Clipse glasses, the association's April Fools' joke.

Go RVing participated in April Fools’ Day this year with an imaginative invention. The association’s April Fools’ Day joke centered on the total eclipse crossing North America on April 8.

The association introduced the RV-Clipse glasses. The imaginary product is an RV-sized pair of solar eclipse glasses that stretches across a motorhome windshield.

Go RVing said the RV-Clipse glasses would provide consumers with a way to view the eclipse within the comfort of their RV. The association detailed product safety, certification and easy installation features.

While Go RVing does not have RV-sized glasses, the organization is providing free human-sized eclipse glasses at select RV dealerships.

Go RVing’s joke included a video of the RV-sized glasses. The video was released across Go RVing’s social media accounts.
