Gulf Stream Coach said its Vintage Cruiser travel trailer line is outpacing average industry sales after 10 years on the market.

The manufacturer said its Vintage Cruiser sales are up 36% year over year. The company said Vintage Cruiser’s retro-inspired, 1950s aesthetic has been a hit with dealers and at consumer shows.

Tim Dennig, general manager of Gulf Stream’s laminate division, said watching the crowd’s reaction to the trailer has been a thrill.

“People are originally drawn in by the fun colors and the vibe,” he said, “but once they see how it is built, they realize it is a modern powerhouse.”

For the brand’s 10th anniversary, Gul Stream Coach refreshed the interior and exterior. Among the top features, the company said, are Vintage Cruiser’s one-piece fiberglass shell, Goodyear tires with moon rims and an enhanced safety step system with extra stabilizer jacks. Inside, models include a full bath and a galley. The power system features a 100-watt solar panel.

“We are not just selling an incredible design,” Dennig said. “We are selling top-quality, lightweight, durable travel trailers built for today’s SUVs.”

Gulf Stream Coach said the brand’s anniversary sales surge is a testament to its enduring popularity and high-value features.

“Being family-owned allows us to be responsive,” Dennig said. “When our dealers tell us customers want something, we do not have to check with a board of directors—we just build it. That responsiveness is exactly why we are outperforming the market by such a wide margin.”
