Hopkins Mfg Corp. hired Vince Callaghan as its vice president of information technology.
Callaghan will manage all company information tools, communication systems, computer systems and networks. The company stated he also will ensure information asset security.
“He will take on the challenge of planning the information technology future to support the next levels of growth for Hopkins,” the company stated, “be an advocate for the implementation of new tools and technologies to advance the company and increase efficiency, while continuing to support current operations.”
Callaghan most recently, he was the information technology director for NBHX Trim, an automotive and white goods supplier. He implemented a new enterprise resource planning system at NBHX Trim.
Before working at NBHX Trim, Callaghan was the information technology director for AEL-SPAN LLC, a third-party logistics provider. He also worked as an IT consultant in manufacturing and service companies.
“His varied background will be an asset in his role at Hopkins,” the company stated.
