Larry’s Trailer Sales, an Illinois-based family RV dealership for 56 years, was sold to Zoomers RV of Indiana, LLC.

Larry’s Trailer Sales will become the third dealership owned by Zoomers RV, joining locations in Wabash, Indiana, and Lamoni, Iowa.

Richard Flowers has owned Larry’s Trailer Sales since 1974, when he took over from his father, Larry. Larry Flowers established the business in 1966.

“Our employees have an average tenure of 15 years, with a few being with us for over 25 years,” Richard Flowers said. “In short, they have become like family, and it was crucial that we took our time to find the right owner for this business.”

Zoomers RV owner Mike Weaver said the acquisition further accelerates the company’s 2022 growth strategy. Weaver said the addition will add service and product representation to the company’s growing Midwest customer base.

“For over 50 years, Larry’s Trailer Sales has been highly respected in southern Illinois, with a strong culture of servicing customers,” Weaver said. “We look at this acquisition as a great opportunity to increase our presence in this region of the RV market.”

RV Business Solutions co-founders Scott Degnan and Mike Lankford facilitated the acquisition.

“Scott and Mike helped advise and guide me every step of the way,” Richard Flowers said. “This deal would not have happened without them.”
