Lazydays said the company has worked through 2023 inventory issues that hampered the dealer chain.

According to Lazydays Vice President of Operations Amber Dillard, as of March 7, the company has 17 RVs from the 2022 model year in stock and 750 from the 2023 model year. The figures are down 83% and 62.5%, respectively, from dealer stocking levels in early November.

Dillard said over 80% of Lazydays’ inventory today are 2024 models.

Lazydays dedicated a team to improve the dealer chain’s used RV inventory over the past quarter. The company sourced trade-ins and high-demand RVs to provide consumers with affordable price points while maintaining gross margins.

Lazydays CEO John North said the dealer chain received incentives from OEM partners which furthered inventory efforts. According to North, the company boosted marketing efforts to tackle the issue.

Dillard said, “We are well positioned to maintain the inventory health we have spent the last four months diligently working on.”

Lazydays’ location count totals 25, including its newest Arizona location. North said each location generates a $50 million average.

“When I look at our 25 locations,” North said, “I am really proud of what we have, which is a fantastic brand, a great reputation and a team that really is trying to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional customer experience.”

North said with the accomplishments made in the past few months, the dealership is well-positioned as the summer season unfolds.

“The first thing for us is we want to operate meaningful stores of size and scale,” North said, “which we think allows us to have a better customer experience but also attracts higher caliber leaders and better operators because the income opportunities are greater.”
