Tiffin Motorhomes President Leigh Tiffin has resigned, effective immediately. Tiffin is the grandson of company founder Bob Tiffin and has been at the helm of the motorhome manufacturer since July 2021.
Leigh Tiffin is departing the company to pursue a personal career opportunity focused on continued leadership and professional growth.
“After a great deal of thought, I have decided to step away from my role at Tiffin to pursue a personal opportunity that is important to me,” Leigh Tiffin said. ‘This decision was not easy, because Tiffin Motorhomes is not just a company to me—it is family, legacy and a team of people I deeply respect.”
Tiffin’s parent company, Thor Industries, said the Tiffin family will remain actively engaged in the business. Bob Tiffin will remain actively involved with the company. His son, Van Tiffin, will continue serving as senior advisor of manufacturing, where he plays a critical role in upholding the craftsmanship for which Tiffin Motorhomes is known. His grandson, Trent Tiffin, remains Vice President of Sales.
Bob Tiffin said, “Leigh has done outstanding work leading this business and carrying the Tiffin name forward with pride. “I am thankful for his dedication and the impact he has had on this company and our people. I am also thankful for Thor’s partnership and the support they have provided.”
A Tiffin spokesman said the entire company extended its sincere appreciation to Leigh Tiffin for his leadership, commitment and the impact he made on the organization. The spokesman said Leigh Tiffin’s contributions strengthened the company and reinforced the values that define the Tiffin name.
The spokesman said Tiffin Motorhomes remains firmly rooted in Red Bay, Alabama. The spokesman said the company’s operations, workforce and long-term commitment to the Red Bay community remain unchanged.

At this time, a successor has not been named. A Tiffin spokesman said the company’s operations continue with Thor Industries’ full support. Additional leadership updates will be shared at a later date.
During the transition period, Jayco President Ken Walters and the Jayco division will assist Tiffin’s leadership team.
Thor Industries President and CEO Bob Martin said Tiffin Motorhomes continues to operate with strong order momentum and dealer support. He did not anticipate disruptions to customers or production.
“Leigh has played an important role in the recent success of the Tiffin brand,” Martin said, “and we wish him all the best in his next chapter.”
