Lippert Components, Inc. released its new Luverne SolidShield Van Grille Guard. Lippert stated the product takes an innovative step forward in fleet grille guard technology.

Compared with the industry-standard two-point mounting system, SolidShield features a four-point mounting system. Lippert stated the four-point system provides maximum strength and rigidity and helps prevent vehicle damage.

“Luverne has taken work van front-end protection to another level with the new SolidShield Grille Guard,” said Jesse Bauer, director of automotive product. “While it contours the front bumper, it also provides a stylish look and rock-solid front-end protection. This grille guard falls right in line with Luverne’s functional, no-nonsense approach to continue driving our customers’ success forward safely.”

Vehicle-specific construction contours to the front of the cargo van. Steel mounting brackets also are vehicle-specific. Installation does not require a drill.

The grille guard includes a one-piece, 2-inch tubular steel ring assembly and rubber extrusions formed over metal strips on the uprights. Additionally, light brackets (sold separately) are available to mount aftermarket lights.

The SolidShield is finished with an E-coat and semi-gloss black powder. Lippert stated the finish adds corrosion resistance and durable protection.
