Compton, California-based Magnadyne Corp. filed suit in the District Court for the Northern District of Indiana against Winegard Company.
Magnadyne alleges that Burlington, Iowa-based Winegard AIR 360+ Omnidirectional TC/FM Antenna + wi-fi + 4G Extender infringes various claims of U.S. Patent No. 10,622,709 issued by the U.S. Patent Office on April 14.
“Magnadyne Corp. intends to protect its intellectual property,” the company stated, “including U.S. Patent No. 10,622,709.”
Winegard Co. stated it has a long innovation track record, resulting in more than 100 awarded patents.
“Throughout our 67-year history, we have always respected others’ intellectual property rights,” Winegard stated. “Magnadyne’s lawsuit misstates the facts and lacks merit as a matter of law. Winegard will vigorously protect our intellectual property and defend this legal matter to its conclusion.”
The lawsuit has been assigned case No. 3:20-cv-722.
