Prime Time Manufacturing will roll out 5G connectivity to the RV industry through Winegard’s latest product offering.

Prime Time RVs will come equipped with the Winegard Air 360+ 5G roof-mounted over-the-air antenna. The antenna is compatible with Winegard 4G and 5G Gateways. The Winegard products are manufactured in the U.S.

The Winegard Gateway products are certified by the three major mobile data carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon) for nationwide coverage.

The built-in Winegard antennas operate with either 4G or 5G capabilities.

According to Prime Time, the antennas deliver vastly greater signal reach and reception than a standard hotspot or smartphone device.

The 5G rollout is the latest advancement in mobile data connectivity. The service provides greater speeds than 4G LTE and lower latency rates needed for video conferencing, content streaming and online gaming, Prime Time said. The 5G data capability can give consumers greater access to Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities. IoT capabilities help power connectivity for items in smart RVs that can be monitored remotely such as smart TVs, smart speakers and smart appliances.

Winegard is an American connectivity technology company. Headquartered in Burlington, Iowa, Winegard has locations in Illinois, Indiana, Utah and Oregon. The company’s Iowa-based facility totals 410,000 square feet and includes testing, validation and measurement capabilities. Click here for more information.
