Flow control product supplier Marshall Excelsior (MEC) acquired certain assets of Ken Larson Inc., which does business as Hurricane Products. Terms were not disclosed.

Valencia, California-based Hurricane Products makes regulators sold primarily to the RV and camping equipment markets.

“Hurricane’s regulator offering is a great fit with MEC,” Hurricane CEO Ken Larsen said. “We believe this product category will continue to grow under MEC leadership.”

MEC is a company under the Harbour Group, a privately-owned supplier and distributor based in St. Louis.

“We think Hurricane is an excellent addition to MEC and will enhance our access into additional end markets,” Harbour Group Chairman and CEO Jeff Fox said. “MEC has been focused on expanding its regulator offerings and Hurricane represents a great opportunity for us to do so.”

“We are excited about the addition of Hurricane to the MEC platform,” MEC CEO Pat Donovan said. “It improves our cost position and provides direct access to the RV and camping equipment end markets.”
