The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) and General RV recently teamed up to attend the Michigan School Counselor Association Conference and promote RV service technician careers.

RVTI has attended American School Counselor Association Conferences to share information with high school counselors on the RV service technician career path. In Michigan, about 500 K-12 Michigan school counselors attended the conference.

General RV, an RVTI Authorized Learning Partner, operates 14 dealerships across the country with more than 500 service bays. The company’s efforts to introduce more individuals to a career path within the RV industry expands beyond service technicians, RVTI said, to additional roles ranging from parts and warranty to training and corporate office support.

“General RV is very grateful to be able to partner with the RV Technical Institute, and we look forward to fulfilling our unified goal of increasing awareness in RV-related careers,” said Katie Boley, recruiting operations manager at General RV.  “The Michigan School Counselors Association Conference provided a prime opportunity to connect with those who have an early impact on career decision-making. Through the connections made, we will be able to continue to educate individuals on the benefits and valuable potential the RV industry has to offer.”
