The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) named mobile water filtration systems manufacturer Blu Technology a 2026 Best Small Business.
The SBDC holds its Michigan Celebrates Small Business competition annually and honors small businesses across the state.
Blu Technology is a veteran-owned company building mobile water filtration systems out of NSF-certified recyclable material in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Michigan SBDC said Blu Technology’s patented UVC purification, multi-stage filtration and a quick-connect ecosystem set new standards for safety, sustainability and accessibility.
Company founder and CEO Corbin Collet said the award is a true team win.

J.D. Collins, director of the Michigan SBDC, said companies nominated for the award must demonstrate a strong relationship with the organization and significant company success.
“This year’s awardees exemplify outstanding commitment and leadership,” Collins said, “and the SBDC is honored to recognize Blu Technology.”
The award will be presented to Blu Technology on April 22.
