The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) RV Technician and RV Inspector Expo registration is now open.

Co-hosted by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) and the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA), the virtual event will be Sept. 26-30.

The curriculum currently features 16 webinars exploring various RV technical and inspection topics from mobile business training to the complete teardown of common Onan generator carburetors. Additional sessions may be added, NRVTA said.

NRVIA and RVTAA members can attend the Expo at no cost this year. In the past, members paid $199 to attend.

“We are excited about this year’s Expo because it gives our members an opportunity to earn all their CEUs (continuing education units) in just one week of training,” said Gilda Mitchell, NRVIA and RVTAA director of membership benefits. “We have assembled a well-rounded selection of courses that will help maintain and enhance our members’ skills. They will also become familiar with changes to specific products and procedures for evaluating components and, in the case of technicians, fixing problems.”

Attendees participating in all webinars will receive at least 26.5 CEUs. A total of 24 CEUs are required annually for inspectors and technicians to maintain their professional credentials with the associations.

To earn credits, Expo participants need to either attend the training sessions as they are live-streamed or watch the videos when they are released after the Expo’s conclusion. Participants must pass a brief quiz at the end of each session to earn credit.

The complete webinar schedule can be viewed here. Inspectors and technicians will need to register for the free training by logging into their accounts at www.rvservicegroup.com.

If space permits, registration may be open to non-members in September for a fee.

The 2022 Expo is sponsored by Tom Manning & Associates, Miller Farrell Insurance Agency and Road Life Project.
