Newmar Corp. recognized suppliers and contributors with an annual award for supply chain performance during the past year.
The award uses internal surveys that measure each supplier in multiple categories while interacting with Newmar’s purchasing, manufacturing, quality, service and engineering departments. Suppliers were required to score at least 195 points out of 201 to earn an invitation to the evening’s festivities.
Although the company’s traditional awards banquet was cancelled because of coronavirus, recipients received recognition in smaller events or via virtual platform.
“As we all know, 2020 was a challenging year for everyone in the RV industry,” Vice President of Supply Chain Matt McQuown stated. “These dedicated suppliers overcame huge challenges and the demanding changes we forced on all of them, all the while continuing top level support and service to Newmar.”
Award recipients are recognized for the service, dedication and commitment to serve Newmar, the company stated. Suppliers and individuals recognized for 2020 were:
