Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. announced that it officially acquired Northern Wholesale Supply (NWS). NWS first announced the move in January.

NWS, founded in 1984, provides more than 30,000 parts and accessories to the RV and marine industries.

“NWS has built an outstanding reputation over the past 36 years,” Wynnchurch Managing Partner John Hatherly said in the company’s first comments on the acquisition. “We are fortunate to partner with Nick Gargaro and his team to continue to grow the NWS platform.”

NWS announced in January that Gargano, the company CEO, would lead the company under its new ownership.

“We are excited to partner with NWS to build on the company’s history of success,” Wynnchurch Principal Brian Riordan said. “We believe that their focus on providing customers with industry leading product breadth, availability, and service positions NWS to be an attractive platform for growth.”

NWS is headquartered in Hugo, Minnesota, and maintains a proprietary products division which consists primarily of its Extreme Max product line.

“Delivering industry-leading service to all of our customers has always been and will continue to be our top priority,” Gargano said. “I am excited to have found the perfect partner with Wynnchurch as we continue that mission.

“Wynnchurch has taken the time to intimately understand our company and give us the flexibility we need in order to continue our success,” Gargano said. “We are excited to partner with them to take NWS into its next phase of growth.”
