Camper and teardrop manufacturer nuCamp RV released its new truck camper, which is said was made for the half-ton truck market.

The Cirrus 620 is lightweight, weighing in at less than 1500 pounds, yet equipped with more amenities than any other truck camper offering in the market, nuCamp stated. The camper’s exterior includes an aluminum framed roof, walls and floors, along with electric jacks, 210 solar watts and a backup camera.

“Our primary goal was to create a high-quality unit loaded with style and amenities, all while weighing under 1500 pounds,” nuCamp CEO Scott Hubble stated.

“Consumers no longer need to the make the choice between a minimally equipped lightweight camper or one full of amenities that exceeds their half-ton truck’s limitations,” Hubble stated.

The camper’s interior features European styling, nuCamp stated, with solid wood cabinetry and multiple storage options. A fully equipped kitchenette, queen bed and hide-a-way cassette toilet are included within the unit, along with stained cabinets, LED lighting and five windows. nuCamp’s heating and water system, the Alde, also will be featured.

Buyers will have access to the Smart Camp function, a custom offline technology that offers lighting and fan control from any smart device.

The Cirrus 620 will arrive at nuCamp dealers in December.
