Pete’s RV Center will open its first dealership in Maine, a new construction site in Saco, Maine.

The dealership plans to break ground in January. The location would be ready to open early in 2023, owners Todd McGinnis, Chad Shepard and Scott Borden said.

“Maine is called ‘Vacationland’ for a reason,” Shepard said. “We are thrilled to get the opportunity to become a community fixture in the Saco and greater Portland area, plus be surrounded by amazing campgrounds, beaches, and national parks.”

The company said it acquired 60 acres around state Routes 1 and 98. The location will feature a state-of-the-art facility with a spacious showroom, parts and accessories store and service center with multiple bays.

The Maine location will be Pete’s RV Center’s seventh. Along with the flagship store in Vermont, the dealer has sites in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Indiana and South Carolina.

The Maine location will host Jayco’s full lineup in addition to various towables and motorhomes.
