Protective Asset Protection, a provider of F&I programs and services, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of RVDA’s endorsement of Protective’s XtraRide service contract program.

For over three decades, Protective has worked with the RVDA to bring its members F&I solutions and training to help support dealers and the RV industry.

RVDA is at the forefront of dealer-manufacturer issues, state and federal legislation that affects RV retailers, Protective said, as well as the national Go RVing advertising campaign and educational programs covering all dealer operations’ aspects.

Throughout the last 30 years, Protective said the company has been committed to helping RV dealers offer the very best and most reliable F&I products that help RV owners keep their units on the road in safe, properly working condition. Protective said it has ensured its nationwide RV dealer network has access to ongoing F&I training programs and affordable F&I products.

Starting as a division of General Electric (GE), Protective acquired an RV extended service contract program, XtraRide. Over the following decades, Protective worked closely with the RVDA, dealers and agents to enhance and grow the program, the company said.

“Protective’s XtraRide service agreement earned the RVDA exclusive endorsement through its long-term commitment to dealers and their customers,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said. “Over the years, XtraRide has provided RV travelers with outstanding protection for their motorhomes and travel trailers. With the stability and financial resources of Protective behind it, it is a service agreement that dealers can provide to their customers with confidence.”

Providing RV dealers and their teams with educational resources has been a focus of the Protective and RVDA relationship, the company said. Providing training to help RV dealerships better meet the protection needs of customers is key to helping dealers continue their success, regardless of environmental challenges.

“Americans have long enjoyed taking to the open roads to go RVing across this great country of ours, and we are proud to know we have played a special part in keeping that dream alive,” said Bill Koster, vice president of specialty products for Protective Asset Protection. “The RVDA, in conjunction with our agent and dealer partners remains vitally important to us, and we look forward to many more years helping dealers enable more memories for families and RV enthusiasts alike. With 30 years of endorsement from the RVDA, we remain confident dealers will continue to meet the protection needs of their customers.”
