Protective Asset Protection, an F&I programs and services provider, recently launched its new specialty tire and wheel coverage products for RV, marine, and powersports units.
The product covers new and used RVs. For RVs, the policy covers tire repair or replacement and wheel repair or replacement, along with towing costs and a flat tire allowance.
Replacements are limited to the same tire/wheel as the OE tire/wheel. A comparable tire/wheel of like kind and quality will be covered if the OE tire/wheel is not available or out of production.
The coverage has no model year restrictions. The program is available for core, retro and reinsurance programs.

Protective’s tire and wheel protection provides repair and replacement coverage for tires and wheels damaged by covered road hazards for up to seven years. For RVs, coverage is extended to trailers and tow vehicles if the vehicles are damaged while towing the covered unit.
