Renegade RV recently added an 81,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Elkhart, Indiana, to shorten production times and keep up with Type C consumer demand, a company spokeswoman said Monday.

The plant is Renegade RV’s third manufacturing space. Renegade RV will make the Villagio, Vienna and Veracruz RV brands in the new building.

Merv Miller, Renegade RV’s general manager, said the Villagio Sprinter’s return sharpened the company’s focus on innovative design and smart functionality.

Miller said, “This added capacity ensures we can deliver even more of what customers expect from Renegade.”

Opening the new building has freed up capacity in the manufacturer’s other two manufacturing areas. Renegade plans to add employees as manufacturing line work increases.

“The expansion is driven by strong market demands of renowned Renegade products,” the company said, “and hitting increased production capacity.”
