RV fixed operations professionals can earn certifications in multiple areas during a weeklong event starting March 6.

Sponsored by the Society of Certified RV Professionals and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, the “Fixed Operations Professional Certification Week” runs through March 12. Participants can receive certification in roles such as parts manager, parts specialist, service writer/advisor, service manager and warranty administrator.

“There are so many opportunities right now as dealerships are speeding up service operations to keep pace with the accelerated sales coming out of last year’s Covid shutdown,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said. “It is an exciting time to be in fixed ops.”

The RV Learning Center provides many resources to fixed operations professionals, including the Fixed Ops Today website and a service writer/advisor online course.

The center’s credentials were developed by experts at Ohio State University’s Center for Education and Training for Employment. The company stated suppliers, distributors, dealer owners and manufacturers were involved in developing the programs.

RV technician certification opportunities are available through the RV Technical Institute . Additionally, educational resources are available through the Florida RV Trade Association.

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s director board initiated the Society of Certified RV Professionals in 2014, the center stated, to increase RV industry certified professionals and retain those who hold certification credentials.
