The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:
BOREAS CAMPERS
Cooktop Gas Valves May Fracture Causing Gas Leak
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk
Potential Number of Units Affected: 100
Boreas Campers is recalling certain 2021-2022 XT travel trailers equipped with certain SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part numbers 3031AST and 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.
Dealers will replace the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 17, 2023. Owners may contact Boreas Campers customer service at 1-720-515-3641.

Seat Belt Mounting Bracket May Fail/FMVSS 210
Modified seat belt mounting brackets can fail to properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the injury risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 368
Newmar is recalling certain 2019-2023 Bay Star, 2020-2023 Bay Star Sport and 2022-2023 Super Star motorhomes. The seat belt brackets for the dinette seat belts were modified to avoid interference with the vehicle slide-out rollers in the floor. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Nos. 210, “Seat belt Assembly Anchorages” and 207, “Seating Systems.”
Dealers will replace the seat belt mounting brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 5, 2023. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar’s number for this recall is 604RSB.

Windshield Wipers May Fail
Reduced driver visibility increases the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,205
Jayco is recalling certain 2021-2022 Entegra Coach Accolade, Accolade XL, Jayco Seneca and Seneca Prestige RVs. The windshield wipers may fail, resulting in reduced driver visibility.
Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper arms, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 11, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
