Pacific Northwest RVers can start servicing their vehicles at a new maintenance shop along the I-5 corridor next month.

Mobile Diesel Services will officially open its new home between Medford and Eugene, Oregon on June 1. The new facility will specialize in diesel engine and transmission repairs, suspension work, general maintenance and the installation of aftermarket performance parts and accessories.

“Our new location not only gives our customers easy access to our facility, but the modernization and layout will help us provide faster turnaround time on all aspects of our diesel-related business,” said Shawn Smalley, founder and general manager of the family-run business.

Mobile Diesel Service (MDS), founded by brothers Shawn and Jason Smalley, is relocating from its old location in Oakland into a brand new, 8,000-squ

are-foot, nine-bay facility in nearby Sutherlin. The shop will be located near I-5 Exit 135 (northbound) and Exit 136 (southbound).

MDS has served commercial fleets, owner-operators of heavy haulers, RVers and diesel pickup owners in Oregon’s Umpqua Basin region for more than 20 years. The service center’s experts handle diesel repair, diagnostics, fabrication, welding and maintenance services, as well as providing 24/7 emergency roadside/on-site repairs along a busy section of I-5.

“Our staff of ASE-certified diesel technicians will continue to provide the latest in engine diagnostics for CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Power Stroke and Duramax engines in our new facility, as well as the drivetrains, chassis and suspensions under diesel pickups and motorhomes,” Smalley said.

Technicians at MDS will be able to provide services ranging from emissions and electrical issues to drivetrain repairs and complete engine overhauls in the new facility, which is located just a half-mile east of I-5 in the center of Sutherlin.

“We have a very talented group of technicians who will repair your diesel pickup or motorhome right the first time, with cost and reliability kept in mind,” Smalley said.

MDS is an authorized dealer for many aftermarket manufacturers including FASS fuel systems, South Bend clutches, MBRP Exhaust Systems, Roadmaster, Industrial Injection, Banks Performance Products, Edge Products, PAC Brake systems, BD Diesel, MOVE Bumpers, Air Lift, BDS Suspension, Bilstein and Fox shocks.
