David Mihalick of Thor Industries has joined the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) Board of Directors.

Mihalick is the vice president of vehicle safety and regulatory compliance at Thor. He has been in the RV industry for more than 23 years, including the past 18 at Thor Industries.

Along with his work at Thor Industries, Mihalick and his department have been active RVIA Technical Subcommittee members. One of these is the Vehicular Components Subcommittee, where Mihalick serves as chairman. He is also a member of the Standards Steering Committee.

“Dave’s decades of experience and involvement in our industry standards program makes him a perfect fit,” RVIA said, “as we blend RV safety standards and RVTI curriculum, resulting in the gold standard of technician training and certification.”

Mihalick joins 14 other RVTI board members, led by Chairman Mary Pouliot of Thetford Corp. Other officers include Treasurer April Klein-Carroll of Lippert and Secretary Bob Parish of Wells Fargo.

Board members are appointed to a one-year term.
