As the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Safeguard Rule reporting requirements approach, RVDA and KPA are teaming up to provide dealers with resources.

The partners will host a 30-minute webinar at 2 p.m. Eastern March 20 to address process details. The webinar is titled “Help Me Solve… Compliance with Safeguards Annual Reporting.”A picture of the RVDA logo.

KPA Director of Product Technology Stephen Troy said, “RV dealerships need to ensure that their qualified individual is ready to address the written status report for the board of directors or other governing body.”

The FTC postponed certain Safeguards Rule compliance until June 9, 2023. Among the requirements in the rule is a designated company employee submitting an annual compliance report.
