RVIA will host a members-only webinar Oct. 20 titled “EV RVs and the Impact on the RV Industry.”
The webinar will be the association’s first addressing e-RVs.
An expert panel will discuss electric vehicles’ strategic deployment and the RV industry’s current opportunities and challenges at play.
The panel will include:
- McKay Featherstone, Thor Industries vice president for product development and engineering
- Ashis Bhattcharya, Winnebago Industries senior vice president for business development, advanced technology & enterprise marketing
- Toby O’Rourke, Kampgrounds of America, Inc. president and CEO
- Chris Bornemann, RVIA director of federal government affairs
- Bryan Ritchie, RVIA senior director of standards
The panel will drive discussion and include their learnings to date.
Among the questions to be addressed are:
- What are the impacts of the new technology on OEM and supplier products, campgrounds, infrastructure and industry standards?
- How does the outdoor recreation and RV industry ensure federal support and funding is meeting consumer demand?
- What are the expectations from a growing consumer audience interested in electric vehicles?
With EV RVs in development and charging pedestals being added to campgrounds, RVIA said the discussion is one members will not want to miss.
