
RVIA’s Government Affairs team hosted a reception Monday in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the RV sector’s 2025 successes.
Reception attendees included Rep. Rudy Yakym (R-Ind.) and Rep. Mark Messmer (R-Ind.), as well as Capitol Hill employees.
RVIA said the Government Affairs team highlighted the industry’s contributions to the economy, healthy outdoor recreation experiences, emerging camping technologies and job creation. The team spoke with congressional employees to raise awareness about the RV Caucus and its initiatives.
The House RV Caucus is co-chaired by Yakym and Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV).
According to RVIA, Messmer joined the RV Caucus on Monday. Messmer and Yakym spoke during the reception, highlighting the RV industry’s importance and its impact on Indiana’s economy.
RVIA said RV Caucus members champion the industry and RV lifestyle by advocating on issues such as campground modernization, taxes and trade.
