RVTI Offers Alternative Career Path

As more young adults are turning away from higher education, the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) is looking to attract students to the skilled trades.

According to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) Research Center, Spring college enrollment numbers have continued to fall for the past 11 years. Plus, 685,000 fewer students were enrolled in post-secondary education in America this spring.

According to the NSC, community college numbers fell almost 8%.

This drop in college enrollment continues, skilled trades careers are increasingly in demand, said RVTI.

To meet this potential interest, the RVTI has established a curriculum for those interested in becoming certified RV technicians.

According to RVTI, the institute’s technical training program has several advantages when compared to a four-year college degree, including shorter study times, ongoing demand for skilled workers, and reduced costs compared to college tuition.

RVTI is the gold standard when it comes to RV technician training, providing the only industry-backed training curriculum and RV technician certification and career path, RVTI said.

The RVTI program is accessible online and allows students to learn at their own pace. Courses are also available in person at the RV Technical Institute’s facility in Elkhart, IN.
