The Shyft Group said its motorhome chassis sales increased in the first quarter of 2024 from levels registered in the first quarter of 2023.
Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Douyard cited growth in motorhome and service body sales in the company’s Specialty Vehicle Division.
“The business delivered another solid quarter,” he said, “with both top-line growth and strong margin performance.”
Motorhome chassis sales totaled $30.77 million in the first quarter of 2024. That total is up 10% from the $27.96 million in sales in the first quarter of 2023.
The Specialty Division’s adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBIDTA) totaled $17 million, or 18.8% of sales. The quarterly EBIDTA is a 22.3% increase from the first quarter of 2023.
