Storm Shutters Elkhart-Area Activity

A two-day winter storm was expected to subside Feb. 3 but cold temperatures remained, leading to several business, school, government and health building closures.

RV manufacturers and suppliers reported closures Thursday and into today. Closures today include Forest River’s Elkhart-area manufacturing locations, which were also closed Thursday. Keystone RV was closed Thursday and asked employees to use their best judgement in coming in for work today.

Today, forecasters called for mostly sunny skies and cold temperatures, with a high near 18 degrees and a low near 7.
