Super Pacific is stepping onto a new path with its pop-top tents and lightweight truck camper creations. After acknowledging consumer inquiry, the manufacturer will begin its new venture in crafting a Rivian R1T-specific X1 Camper.
The process will begin once 10 investment deposits are secured. Super Pacific will implement model changes complementing the Rivian R1T.
Super Pacific CEO and co-founder Peter Williams said the manufacturer wanted “to include Rivian owners in the development journey and ensure our investment in the fitment is right for Super Pacific.”
Initial deposits contribute to the product price. Super Pacific said they anticipate an increased final retail price compared with the latest X1 model. Those partaking in the investment program will be able to purchase the X1 Camper R1T version at the current price.
Super Pacific expects to deliver the model in the 2024 fourth quarter.
