KBS Coatings released a kit to clean, prep and permanently seal an RV’s fuel tank.
The kit includes three products to perform the task. KBS Klean will clean the fuel tank. RustBlast dissolves rust, corrosion and tarnish. Gold Standard Tank Sealer is a ready-to-use coating to seal a fuel tank.
The kit solves problems created by rust inside an RV fuel tank, KBS Coatings said. Rusting in the tank can cause leaks and plug fuel delivery systems, the supplier said.
KBS Klean and Rust Blast both are water-based, biodegradable products. KBS Coatings said the Gold Standard Tank Sealer is impervious to all fuels and alcohol additives and most solvents. The tank sealer seals small pinholes and weld seams inside the tank.
The kit seals tanks up to 50 gallons.
