The light to medium-duty truck and SUV towing arena expanded through Pollak products. The Standard Motor Products (SMP) brand released the Pollak Trailer Connector program. The program launch introduced new trailer connectors, adapters, extensions and accessories.
SMP Vice President of Product and Marketing John Herc said, “This is a growing market with applications for both commercial and recreational use, and we look forward to helping our distribution partners grow their business with this offering.”
The program has five different product lines. The Pollak Pro line consists of more than 40 connectors, adapters, extensions and accessories. Each product is corrosion-resistant. The Pollak Quick Connexion connectors and adapters feature ergonomic designs, easing the product’s connection and disconnection.
The ProSecure LED line features LED lights integrated into connectors, adapters and accessories. The ProSecure Light connectors and adapters glow when a secure connection is made. The Pollak Pro Flex adapters plug into OEM wiring systems. SMP said the adapter’s design enables easy switching between trailers.
SMP said the products will be wrapped in consumer-friendly packaging. The supplier has marketing materials for the line, including planograms, brochures, an advertising program and header cards. SMP also launched a new website to view products.
