Coming off the heels of a record-breaking 2019 and 2020, SuperSprings International’s  momentum continued throughout 2021.

The suspension supplier recorded a full year’s growth of 42%. The company attributes its three years of success to a shift toward end-consumer marketing in 2019, strong partnerships and a defined strategic vision under the executive leadership of Adam Weisner, chief commercial officer, and Gerry Lamberti, chairman and CEO.

“Our team stepped up to the plate and delivered incredible results,” Lamberti said. “We expect 2022 to be another banner year.”

The company said its 2022 plans are to grow the business and work to become the best-known suspension brand in the world. Weisner said revamping the company’s marketing strategy in 2019 was largely focused on building a quality brand and brand awareness.

“In 2021 we became the most followed suspension brand in our category,” Weisner said. “On Instagram we have more than 60,000 followers and had more than 36 million impressions in 2021. On TikTok we amassed more than 70,000 followers, 700,000 likes, and have videos with more than 13 million views. The result of that drive for awareness was growth across all our customer categories and channels.”

There will be new application releases throughout 2022, as well as additions to the product lineup. Lamberti said the company’s greatest asset is innovation.

“While leveraging SuperSprings International’s expertise with our U.S.  made components,” Lamberti said, “we continually broaden our array of suspension product lines by identifying, then satisfying, niche market needs. This is born from the great relationships that we foster with all our customers.”

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the company implemented a new leadership structure, establishing five business units. These business units’ leaders report to Weisner, who runs the day-to-day business. Weisner continues to report to Lamberti.

SuperSprings is planning to add partnerships in the RV industry throughout this year, as it did in 2021, when its products were added to Coachmen Type C and Winnebago Type A motorhomes as standard equipment. Trailer SumoSprings has been SuperSpring’s fastest-growing product the past two years.

“Partnering with the best distributors in the world continues to be a big focus for the company,” Weisner said. “In 2021, we saw rapid growth in this channel. Our distributor customers grew at a record pace, with our top customers growing more than 100% year over year.”
