This week, Thor Industries met with representatives from Lacasa Inc. at Thor’s global headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana.

Thor made a five-year commitment to support Lacasa, a nonprofit housing agency providing programs to guide Elkhart community members in attaining financial stability. The organization meets underserved communities with empowerment, family stability and neighborhood vitality opportunities.

Thor President Bob Martin said, “Supporting education and programs to empower families to build better lives and acquire safe, affordable housing is one small way to positively impact the community that is so important to the Thor family of companies.”

Over the next five years, Thor said it would contribute “significant” financial support and employee volunteer projects to Lacasa.

Lacasa President and CEO Jeremy Stutsman said Thor’s partnership demonstrates business and advocates uniting.

“It is about working side by side to make a positive impact,” Stutsman said, “and proving that when we collaborate, we can build a better, fairer and stronger future for everyone.”

Nearly 10,000 Thor employees live and work in the Elkhart County area.
