Upgrades are coming to Thor Motor Coach (TMC)’s Type A motorhomes with a focus on families of “all sizes, needs and budgets.”

TMC’s model upgrades will be featured in the manufacturer’s A.C.E., Windsport, Hurricane, Miramar and Challenger lines.

Pet-friendly features continue as the “hallmark” in A.C.E. models, with scratch-resistant vinyl flooring, an onboard mudroom and “Kibble Station.” In addition, the motorhomes will feature an exterior multi-purpose tie-down to restrain pets.

TMC’s Hurricane and Windsport models now feature standard 22.5-inch aluminum wheels, an upgrade to the tires’ durability and overall appearance. The lines will offer a new, optional interior décor called “Luxury Collection.” The aesthetic uses cool tones and black nickel-finish hardware. TMC stated the look captures the company’s attentiveness to high-end, modern interiors.

Windsport units received an exterior overhaul, TMC stated, including new color options with partial paints and exterior sidewall graphics.

TMC’s Miramar line includes two bunkhouse floorplans that can sleep as many as 10. The motorhomes will feature a new child tether added to the dinette, making a safer environment for kids who “road school.”

“A contemporary interior color option, ‘Nightcap,’ creates the kind of welcoming and stress-free ambiance sought out by consumers turning to full-time RV living,” TMC stated regarding additional Miramar upgrades.

The Challenger line will see new, full-body paint color options, deemed Firekeeper, Marina Bay and Peppermill. TMC stated the designs use vibrant colors against the line’s dark base. Inside the coach, new furniture styling will add to the Challenger 37FH floorplan. The “modern interior” features satin-finish cabinetry, nickel-finish hardware and a remote-controlled electric fireplace.
