KZ Recreational Vehicles, a Thor subsidiary, hosted the first half of its Dealer Service School, a four-day intensive course for dealers to learn the updated service techniques for KZ and Venture products.

KZ held two class periods in November. Two more are planned for January.

KZ Service Operations VP Sean Andrews said the company is constantly offering new features and updating its RV lineup.

“Training sessions like these are incredibly beneficial,” Andrews said.” Throughout the years, they have remained exceptionally popular and are tailored directly to our dealers’ feedback, allowing us to provide the essential information needed to benefit customers the most.”

During training, supplier technicians and KZ service technicians demonstrate service and repair techniques as well as offer hands-on product demonstrations. Classes cover various topics including AC units, water heaters, furnaces, water pumps, slides, electrical troubleshooting, brakes, axles, decals and extended body shop training.

KZ said the half-day training session will include two classes in fiberglass and body repair in the morning, and final prep and paint classes in the afternoon.
