Electric power will course through a lightweight towable at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from Jan. 9-12.

Taxa Outdoors, a lightweight adventure vehicle manufacturer, will unveil a custom Mantis model at the event. The Mantis will feature Goal Zero’s Escape Ecosystem with the Yeti Pro 4000 portable power station.

The Yeti Pro 4000 power station has a 3,600-watt power output and a 7,200-watt power surge. A 3,000-watt solar input charges the power station quickly.A picture of the Goal Zero Escape Ecosystem.

The Ecosystem also includes the Tank Pro 4000 Expansion Tank, an additional lithium battery, the Boulder 100 solar panels and the Escape remote display.

TAXA Outdoors founder and Chief Design Officer Garrett Finney said the electric power incorporated into the Mantis is the future.

“The outdoor solution we are showing is for right now and is right-now-practical,” Finney said. “It is important to us to improve the world today where it is at.”

In remote locations, the Ecosystem will power Mantis’ air conditioning, lighting and electronics. The Mantis sleeps four or more adults and has two activity areas in the trailer’s front and back.
