Trader Interactive, parent company of Statistical Surveys Inc., hired Troy Snyder to the business’ newly established position as VP of digital retailing.
As VP of digital retailing, Snyder will strategize, plan and direct the overall product roadmap for Trader Interactive’s digital retailing business, the company stated, as well as new features and update rollouts. The company said he will be tasked with directing functionality, system design and development of the company’s software and support operations.
“Troy has a depth and diversity of experience with developing and expanding digital retailing solutions that will be instrumental in transforming Trader marketplaces to facilitate our customers completing their journey to purchasing the vehicle of their choice,” said Senthil Velayutham, the company’s chief product and technology officer. “We feel very fortunate to have Troy join our team, and look forward to the contributions he will make to Trader.”
Snyder has 20 years’ experience in online vehicle web application development. Most recently he was the senior VP at CarFinance, where he oversaw development of their first all-digital vehicle shopping, financing, purchase and delivery solution. His career includes employment as chief operating officer at NADAguides, a business later sold to J.D. Power, which shifted Snyder to head its consumer division as VP.
