Truma North America, an RV Technical Institute (RVTI) partner, is among the first components suppliers to offer Level 3 Specialty Technician training.

Technicians who have completed Level 1 and Level 2 RVTI training now have the opportunity to further their education with specialty training. Technician training on Truma AquaGo, Aventa, Combi and VarioHeat is available for those pursuing an Appliance Specialist certification.

Truma Head of Service Kyle Hastings said: “We have worked closely with the RVTI over the years and look forward to giving more technicians in-depth training. Being able to get our systems in front of technicians gives them a better understanding of what sets us apart and helps them provide our ‘Simply Better’ experience to their customers.”

Truma offers regional training sessions to provide technicians with the highest technical training level on all four Truma systems. Each session includes a classroom presentation and hands-on troubleshooting and repair for the AquaGo and Combi.

The training sessions provide credits toward RVTI Level 3 certification and continuing education credits for RVTI re-certification.

Truma has six 2023 training sessions with seats remaining. Technicians need to attend one two-day session to receive full training.
