RVshare, a peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace, revealed that Salt Lake City registered the highest number of city bookings in the U.S., followed by Las Vegas and Phoenix.

The state has five national parks and 11 national monuments within the state.

RVshare said nearly 900 rentals are available in Utah. On average, an RV rental in Salt Lake City costs about $1,150 for a five-night trip, including transportation and accommodations.

RVshare Travel Expert Maddi Bourgerie said, “Salt Lake City is an exceptional destination for RV travelers, both seasoned and new. With the city’s close proximity to iconic National Parks including Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Arches, paired with its RV-friendly infrastructure with nearby campgrounds and RV parks, it is no surprise that Salt Lake City and the state of Utah overall will continue to prosper as a top RV and camping destination.”

Because of Utah’s high rental demand, RVshare said the state is a profitable destination for RVshare owners. Over 700 RV owners in Utah can accommodate RV renters flocking to see the area.

According to RVshare’s booking insights, Utah owners have been able to earn over $15 million collectively since joining the platform. Salt Lake City holds a higher RV rental booking value than any other U.S. city. Utah is 15% higher than the second-most valuable city, Las Vegas.
