The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:

CHRYSLER

Radiator Fan Electrical Circuit May Overheat

Electrical circuits that overheat increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 291,664

Chrysler is recalling certain 2018-2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The electrical circuit for the radiator fan may overheat.

The remedy is currently under development. Interim notification letters, explaining the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Nov. 20. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler’s number for this recall is 67C.

FOREST RIVER, INC.

Incorrect Tire Inflation Information on Label

A tire can be overinflated after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 23

Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Stealth EVO, R-Pod, 2025-2026 Wildwood and Salem trailers. The tire information label may list the incorrect tire inflation information.

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 26. Salem, Wildwood and Stealth EVO owners may contact Forest River customer service at 503-831-5410. R-Pod owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-642-3112. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-1991.

 

Exterior Stowed Griddle Can Cause Fire

A griddle stowed while the gas is still in use can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 38

Forest River is recalling certain 2026 Wildwood and Salem travel trailers. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to the LP gas line.

Dealers will inspect and install a locking mechanism as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles are still in manufacturer control, so no owner letters are needed. Forest River’s number for this recall is 44-1992.

 

Incorrect GVWR and CCC Information on Label/FMVSS 110

Referencing the incorrect GVWR and CCC may enable the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 100

Forest River is recalling certain 2025-2026 Alta travel trailers. The federal placard label may have the incorrect axle capacity listed, causing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) to have been miscalculated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 29. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-264-6664. Forest River’s number for this recall is 501-1994.

THOR MOTOR COACH

Liquid Propane Hose May Contact Generator Exhaust

An LP hose that contacts the generator exhaust increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 527

Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2026 Geneva, 2025-2026 Quantum, Four Winds, Pasadena, Eddie Bauer, Chateau, Freedom Elite and Coleman RVs. A P-clamp may not have been installed, enabling the liquid propane (LP) generator hose to contact the exhaust.

Dealers will install a P-clamp to secure the LP hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 15. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 877-855-2867. Thor’s number for this recall is RC000335.

WINNEBAGO TOWABLES

Label Lists Incorrect Tire Size/FMVSS 110

Wrong size tire may be installed with incorrect information, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 377

Winnebago Towables is recalling certain 2019 Micro Minnie5, Minnie Drop, 2020 Minnie Plus5, 2018-2021 Minnie and 2022 Hike 100 travel trailers. The federal tire label may list the incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”

Winnebago will mail correct labels to owners for installation, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 12. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 574-825-5280, ext. 5220. Winnebago’s number for this recall is CAM0000045.
