
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:
FOREST RIVER, INC.
Fuel Line Extension May Detach and Cause Fire
A detached fuel line can leak, increasing the fire risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 534
Forest River is recalling certain 2025-2026 Sunseeker, Solera, Forester, Freelander, Leprechaun and East to West Entrada motorhomes. The fuel line extension connectors may have inconsistent crimps, enabling the fuel line to detach.
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 3. Entrada owners may contact customer service at (574) 264-6664. Forester, Solera and Sunseeker owners may contact customer service at (574) 206-7600. Leprechaun and Freelander owners may contact customer service at (574) 825-8602. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-1955.
GRECH MOTORS, INC.
Awning May Extend Unintentionally
An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,275
Grech is recalling certain 2022-2023, 2025 Terreno, 2021-2025 Turismo and 2020-2025 Strada motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 30. Second letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Grech customer service at (951) 688-8347.
TIFFIN MOTORHOMES, INC.
Alternator Controller Programming May Cause Engine Stall
Improper programming can cause the engine to stall, increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 418
Tiffin is recalling certain 2024 Convoy, 2023-2026 GH1, 2025 GT1 and 2026 GH2 motorhomes equipped with a 2.0-liter engine. The secondary alternator controller programming was not properly updated.
Dealers will install a wire harness and update the alternator programming, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 19. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at (256) 356-8661. Tiffin’s number for this recall is TIF-145.
