A consumer-friendly cell signal booster that provides connectivity in stationary, touring and destination RVs is coming to Wilson Electronics’ cellular booster lineup.

The company launched its weBoost Destination RV, an offering made for use in destination RVs, toy haulers and trailers. The technology is compatible with all mobile devices and wireless carriers in North America, the company stated, and allows users to experience optimal call quality, fewer dead zones, uninterrupted texts and faster data streaming.

“As the pandemic continues, more and more people are turning to RVs as a safe, responsible way to travel and get beyond their homes’ four walls,” Wilson Electronics CEO Bruce Lancaster said. “The Destination RV is the obvious choice for anyone that is looking to ensure strong cell signal on any cellular-connected device, no matter where ‘home’ is that month.”

The Destination RV combines the mobility of an RV cell signal booster with the power of a residential booster, the company stated, and is optimized for continued 5G rollout. The Destination RV includes do-it-yourself installation components including a cell signal booster, inside antenna, outside directional antenna, 25-foot telescoping pole, outside mountain hardware and power cables.

“In an industry previously dominated by retirees, RVs are now being increasingly utilized by young families and couples as remote working and learning opportunities have increased,” Wilson Electronics stated.

Younger campers need consistent access to technology to meet remote work and learning responsibilities, the company stated, but Wi-Fi offered by campgrounds is often too weak or spotty to be reliable.

“The weBoost Destination RV provides the perfect solution,” Wilson Electronics stated. “Whether to stay safe in emergencies, connect with friends and family, or continue to work and learn remotely from anywhere, weBoost’s new booster is a simple, reliable way to improve cellular connectivity in RVs, toy haulers and trailers.”
