Winnebago Motorhome is closing its factory service center in Junction City, Oregon in response to “the current business environment,” the company announced Thursday.

The Junction City Winnebago service team has worked there for five years, supporting hundreds of Winnebago and Country Coach owners with a focus on customer service. Over the past months, the Winnebago Motorhome business has made several announcements regarding changes to operations and procedures as the company manages the impact of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

“As we move forward, our focus remains on the safety of our employees and the long-term strength of the Winnebago Motorhome Business,” the company announced.

Affected employees will be eligible to apply for other positions within Winnebago Industries.  The Junction City Service Center will stop taking new appointments and will continue to operate for approximately 30 days to complete as many scheduled appointments as possible.

Winnebago and Country Coach owners in the Northwest seeking parts and service support can visit Guaranty RV in Junction City, Oregon or RV Corral in Eugene, Oregon.

“We are working closely with both Winnebago dealers during this transition,” the company said.

Winnebago will also phase out support of Country Coach parts and accessories. Country Coach owners will receive a communication and will be encouraged to find repair and service resources through their local dealers, and owner groups and e-commerce sites.

“We greatly appreciate the passionate contributions of our Junction City service team and we are grateful for the Winnebago and Country Coach customers who we had the opportunity to support over these past five years,” the company said.
